Terms & Policies
Effective: October 31, 2026
Using waterdamagerichland.com ("the site") means you accept the terms below. The second half explains how to raise a concern.
Part 1: Terms of Use
The service. The site is a free service that helps homeowners reach independent local water damage contractors by phone. It doesn't perform restoration or construction work.
Independent contractors. Any agreement for work is between you and the contractor. We aren't a party to it and aren't responsible for a contractor's work, pricing, conduct, registration, licensing or insurance.
Your part. Before hiring, confirm the contractor's Washington L&I registration, insurance and qualifications, and read any contract or work authorization before signing.
Content. Site content is general information and may be incomplete or out of date. Nothing here is professional, legal, insurance or safety advice.
No warranties. We provide the site and service "as is," with no warranties of any kind.
Liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, Water Damage Richland isn't liable for damages arising from your use of the site or from work performed by any contractor you reach through it.
Call recording. We may record and monitor calls made through the site, for quality and billing.
Changes and law. We may change these terms by posting a new version here. They're governed by the laws of the State of Washington.
Part 2: Raising a Concern
About the site or a call. Write to Water Damage Richland, 3121 Leslie Rd Ste 147, Richland, WA 99352. Tell us your name, a way to reach you, when you called and what went wrong. We aim to reply within 14 days.
About a contractor's work. Contractors are independent businesses, and we can't settle disputes about their work. If you have a problem:
- Talk to the contractor first. Many issues are resolved directly.
- Bring in your insurer if the work was part of a claim.
- Contact the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries, which handles contractor registration; you may be able to file a claim against a registered contractor's bond.
- Contact the Washington Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division about consumer complaints.
You're welcome to tell us about a contractor problem too. It helps us understand what callers experience.
